Eskom call centres offline because they were paring????? or so it sounded
i am sure every body feels the same about eskom as I do. but my experience last night has reached a new dimension.
And I hope some one more clued up on the use of computers will see this and will send it out to the universe of computer users. (Just correct my mistakes in grammar and spelling please)
Well first. My area was not supposed to get any power outages this week end (29 Feb/1 March) but as usual, you can not expect eskom's own schedule to be correct, the power went off at 5pm om the 29th.
at 10 past 10pm the power was still not back, so I phoned them to find out what the problem was.
The weird thing was the phone call. none of that god awful music was playing and I got to speak to some giggling man almost right away. to be quite frank the man sounded drunk and the people in the back ground did not sound as if they were working. More like parting. I lodged my compliant as usual and got my ref no: and as I put down the phone the power cam on??
5am this morning (1 March) I have no power yes I am p....... I phone. You get the usual press 5 to get help in English, blah, blah, ............ no terrible music, get a grumpy man on the phone, "you cant speak to me, we are off line"
I tell him I pay my electricity so I can speak to him and I am fedup" and he hangs up the phone.
eskom is so pathetic now. they employ people in their call centres who party while on duty. They even cause themselves to go off line. Then they don't even try to get themselves back on line because the people who worked that shift were the people who partied!!!!!
AND THE PAYING CUSTOMER (ME) SITS WITH OUT POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
