Eskom - beware of charges raised on tax invoices paid with your credit card.

Eskom customers please note the following: If you make payment of your eskom account with a credit card and the amount is over R 2500.00 you will be billed an “Adjustment” charge! My account number ********** 748 was charged R 71.24 + VAT = R 81.93 on an invoice payment of R 3 754.20 paid by MasterCard on 29/05/2018. I have been advised by MasterCard - Standard Bank that this is against standard practice!
