Eskom are 110% pathetic and useless

Eskom outage damaged my washing machine (computer board) in November last year. Provided Eskom the police report (yes, a police report), quotation for repair,claim, ID document, proof of address and detailed explanation. Received reference number in December and was told the claim would take 60-90 days to resolve.
