Eskom

Has anyone else noticed that when the Govt is having a weekend seminar (of which there are many) or if the president is giving a public speech at 7-8pm on TV-there is NO load shedding anywhere. Eskom seem to magically have a stable grid. I am sure this not co-incidence. Another thing I have noticed is that when Eskom are announcing increases that they want the already overburdened tax payer to fork out for -it coincides with a load shedding announcement. It borders on feeling as though if we don't cough up, this will be our 'penance'. We don't all earn 7 million a year-in fact far from it. Most people I know are struggling to make ends meet. Eskom management should come down off their pedestals, and cut out being smug.
