Erroneous billing

<p>Eskom very seldom read our meter, and we are obliged to send them a reading monthly, in March</p> <p>I sent them a reading of *** and on the 13 th April I sent them a reading of ***</p> <p> We subsequently received an account from them for 4318.0000 units, to add insult to injury they further charged us for 105 days Admin Fees as well as 105 days for network capacity. On the 21 April, I sent an email. and received a computer generated answer assuring us we were valued </p> <p>clients. I then called their call centre and spoke to Tandile who gave me reference no. ********** 75 she agreed that the account was wrong. She later sent me the following sms "This account was corrected</p> <p>that is why it has different changes. Old charges and new charges with effect from 01.04.2017".</p> <p>They then the following sms "there was a tariff increase with effect 01.04.2027 that is why customer</p> <p>will see old and new tariff on his account" I then sent a further email and got the following ref. ********** 94, still no reply to my questions. Sent email again 02.05.2017 again only automated reply</p> <p>I have forwarded an email for whom I believe to be the manager Mr. Govender, no reply. Getting electricity from Eskom has always been a challenge, we have to apply to a business is Natal who sends</p> <p>us a pro forma invoice for sending us the tokens then after proof of payment has been submitted</p> <p>we are sent tokens and then we are again charged for the amount of units used ,by Eskom. This we</p> <p>have been doing for years, however this months account is the last straw, i do believe employees</p> <p>work on a performance bonus, this must now be deemed a dispute and until such times that it has</p> <p>been corrected. Any assistence will be appreciated.</p>
