Electricity problem

I live in Mapetla, Soweto & we have electricity problem in my area. Ref no of calls logged to eskom *** & ***. Since winter every single day there's no electricity for hours & other days its more than 24 hours. Eskom is aware of this issue & one of their technicians told me we have ******* connections. The affected streets are Pilane Street, K**** Street & Ralekgetho Street. If eskom is aware of the problem why are they not dealing with the issues? Why must everyone suffer? Eskom is requesting an increase of more than 20% on tariffs which will affect only those citizens who pay for electricity. When contacting the call centre , they don't have answers & was told to go to the head office . Meaning I must not go to work? We have children who have to study for exams, food is spoiled , electricical appliances no longer working. I fail to understand why must everyone suffer? We spend closed to R1200 on prepaid electricity during summer what more in winter.
