Electricity meter not registered

i bought a house in Evaton in 2020 and I have been struggling to get my Eskom meter registered for 7 months now so that i can buy electricity through banking app or any supplier ,im struggling to buy Electricity from the suppliers telling that they cant assist me because my meter is not registered, i have to travel from Vaal(Evaton to Tembisa) of which is 100 kilometers just to buy electricity because they are the only people who are willing to electricity to me.i even call their call centre and they advised me to send all documentation and i did that on the 16 Nov 2021 and they told my meter will be registered with 21 days even today im still struggling to get it registered, why do i have to suffer so much ? its not like I'm getting electricity for free no wonder other people just resort to bypass the system and get electricity for free,
