Disgusted with Eskom

We live on a farm in kzn, and there hasn't been electricity since Friday 4pm. It is now Monday and we still don't have lights. We have literally reported the power failure over 20 times and Eskom is doing absolutely nothing to sort the problem out. They claim to be fixing it and sent 3 smss saying it has been restored, but nothing! I have spent over R300 in airtime because Eskom do not respond to calls, and keep you on hold forever! They charge us ridiculous amounts monthly for electricity and other charges, but their service and turnaround time is pathetic. How can it take 3 days to resolve a fault that supposed to be fixed in 6 hours?? Who do we claim damages from for food that has gone bad? As well as for every other inconvenience caused! Something needs to be done, as we cannot live without electricity, we run our businesses from home.
