DINALETSANA VILLAGE (NW), UNDER MADIBENG MUNICIPALITY WITH NO ELECTRICITY FROM DEC 2024 TO MARCH 2025... INHUMANE AND NEEDS URGENT INTERVENSION. ESKOM DOES NO CARE ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE!!!!

Eskom takes advantage of rural areas residents. Ap transformer went down in Rooiwal/Dinaletsana Village which falls under North West in Jericho - that was in 2024 December. This was reported via councilor and escalated to Eskom. To date, March 2025, nothing has been done to replace the transformer. The villagers are told there are households who owe electricity- until they settle their accounts, the transformer wont be replaced. This is highly nonsensical and abusive to residents as there are people who depend on electricity for medical reasons such as oxygen and insulin. Some have boreholes that need electricity to provide drinking water, do laundry and to water their vegetables patches for food!! Why is this happening? Can eskom not punish househoplds that owe? Why should it ppunish the whole village? Why take advantage of the weak, who dont know where to go for help/ dont understand the system?

This is highly unfair and disgusting to think hhat black peole are still being deployed to oppress their own, even though they see that it is wrong! I

P0lease fix this before it is escalated to the presidency. It is injustice to the people of Dinaletsana Village - they are not animals. They too, made their mark in the democratic republic of South Africa. They are 100% human like you people whobrun eskom - especially Madibend Municipality. They are in no way less than yourselves- the services you get, they also deserve. They pay for them. Punish the perpetrators, and leave rhe rest to get the services they pay for. This is inhumane!!! Why do the poor still have to be oppressed under a government that promises better services, and this still happens??
