******* ESKOM

Im totally disappointed on the pethatic service from Eskom(Brits).

My mother made an application about 6months ago and was given a referrence no to fllow up on her application. She kept being told that one of the guys will come in the next week. till today no one came to install the necessary stuff. I then called the head office and they put me through to complaints where they asked to send the email and they will get feedback for me very soon-like wise nothing happened. i called inn again and noone answered. A week ago my mother told me that a guy from Eskom came BUT UNFORTUNATELY they cannot do ANYTHING because theres a lot of i******* connections...leaving her with the option of going to the councillor to write them a letter. This is absolutely rediculous Eskom has records of the areas they work with and people have been requesting the letter from the councillor with no help(which shouldnt be a surprise). My mother told the guy that my neighbour installed legal electricity and she was told the yard is TOO FAR OFF FOR THE ELECTRIC POLE. Now the question is the peolple that installed the ******* electricity its ESKOM EMPLOYEES THEMSELVES. So they telling us to opt for that so we can PAY R6000 like the other people. 'The so called ******* connection is not the ones youl find at informal settlement(wires over the houses or across the roads) its proper wires from the electric poles to houses...so are they telling me that didnt do that or we need to pay the money to get the electricity. Im really upset with Btrits(Bapong) Eskom for making ederly people suffer like this!
