Cable theft

On the 13th of December 2022 the electric cables got ****** in the early hours of the morning.And the residents of properties where the cables were ****** reported the matter to the police as well as eskom.No one from eskom came over the site to check the damage and the cable was not replaced.We were also affected by the cable loss our electricity was off for a day and sometimes it gets interrupted due the cable theft. Several attempts were made to contact eskom however no one came to attend the matter until today.One of the residents came across eskom technicians who were apparently working in the area and they were told to pay R1500 to install the cable.Two houses are still out of electricity while 2 houses get blackouts time and again.
