Bad customer service
Hi Team Hope you can be able to help with my problem eskom has recently installed prepaid metres in my area and we have been buying electricity as required today when trying to load the electricity it kept on rejecting the token i am at work so my brother informed me to call Eskom with my work phone and i did exactly that. I called in to the eskom call centre today and spoke to 3 ladies at around 10:28 my last call was at 10:55.I called in countless times the 1st call someone answered the phone but kept quite as i could hear the background noise the 2nd call the lady could not assist as i had the wrong metre number so i hung up and called in the 3rd time the lady i spoke to when i explained my problem she just said my metre was not registered thats why it is rejecting my token i wanted more clearity as to can that be the cause hence we have been using the metre for a week and it has never done this but she was rude kept on interuptting me and was uwilling to assist so she decided to cut the line called in again , after pressing the options on the IVR it just went quite so i put the number on private then my call went through spoke to a lady who assisted me and explained what might be my problem and gave me options and thanks to her my token was accepted and i would like to thank her for that.I believe that calls are recorded for security purposes as i also work for customer care so customers need to be treated with respect and need to get assistance.I would like this lady to call me back and apologise and her managers should take her through courtesy training and soft skills as she doesnt have any.Hearing from you would be great ....Thanks in advance team the number i was calling in with i am not sure which one is it but its one of the wok phones so i will put in the numbers to make things easy for their quality department.NB:The numbers ***...Regards Gugulethu Nhlapo
