application installation of an electriicity box

they have cancelled the application for an electricity box to be installed in my mothers House as they say we have no power station however there are houses that have electricity in our area and when i called them for this application i have asked them of this can be done and the call centre agent said yes we can have that electricity box installed as long as wtehave a closest pole to the house
