Almost 2 years and still no recovery from Eskom

In October 2013 I called Eskom to send technicians out as we had no electricity (was not due to load shedding). I kept asking for help and Eskom repeatedly told me that the problem had been sorted out even though the technicians had never set foot on our property and had my correct mobile number. A few days past and eventually Eskom sent out two technicians who were able to identify the problem on the transformer - the fuses had blown. This they reconnected but already our food in both the fridge and freezer had gone off and I had to throw all of it away. I followed all the instructions and sent in pictures, 3 quotes and all the documentation. I have spent over R1,000 in petrol in going to see them personally, not to mention the costs of phone calls and time in trying to sort this out. Prices of food have now escalated and I am still waiting for this to be sorted out. I am frustrated and disappointed to say the least in Eskom. It is bad enough that we have to endure load shedding and unprofessional services but even more so when Eskom is responsible for the loss of our food and for incurring further expenses!!!! Enough is enough Eskom and Mr Mogomotsi Maboe!!!
