No Assessment Done, Yet Claim Rejected

This company was appointed by ABSA Home Insurance as the assessor for our area. Shockingly, without conducting any physical assessment or inspection of the property, ABSA informed us that our claims would not be covered — based on feedback from this assessor.

How can a claim be denied when no proper assessment was ever done? This raises serious concerns about the legitimacy and fairness of the process. We expect transparency and due diligence, especially when it comes to something as important as home insurance.
