Unhappy Customer

I app**** for removal from debt review, because I was ******* into getting into it in the first place, tried cancelling the same day, assisted by a person who identified himself as Caleb from Erase Debt SA, who called and presented different payment options and we arranged for monthly debit orders (R1500 per month, 4 installments in total, all paid in full) as I was told that I needed to pay in full before I could be assisted. After payments made (last debit in June 2023), he sent me some forms to fill and send back. I have since sent back the forms and got no response after that.

I have been calling the offices time and time again since then and every time I called, the "assistant" would take my ID number & cell number and I would get this response: "One of our consultants will get back to you," which they never did, and I'd try the same process the next day, with the same response.

This happened until one of the assistants asked me to re-send the documents on email "erasedebtsa32" and after receiving them, she said the same that one of the consultants would get back to me. I haven't heard a word since then. It's been a year now, I'm still under debt review and still no word from them.

I've made another attempt of calling their offices a few today (15 April 2024), and got the same response: a consultant will get back to me. It's been 5 hours now and still nothing, now they are ignoring my calls. All I ever wanted was to be removed from this nonsensical review, but it seems I met other ****mers.
