Misleading Practices and Lack of Transparency by Erase Debt

I am extremely upset with how Erase Debt misled me into signing up with them. I had initially signed up with another company but was assured by Erase Debt that their services were much more affordable. Based on this assurance, I canceled my recent application with the other company the same day via telephone.

Erase Debt then sent me a welcome letter, and I was shocked to discover that their legal fees included an additional R3000, which had not been disclosed to me. When I contacted the sales representative to address this issue, she ignored my request. I immediately reached out to their call center to cancel my application. The call center assured me that an agent would contact me to assist with the cancellation. However, I was neither instructed to send an email nor provided with one to cancel.

My main concern was whether the cancellation would be processed within their 10-day cancellation period. Despite reaching out to the sales representative again, I received no response. It seems that Erase Debt is solely focused on securing business and not on providing refunds or proper customer service.

I find their practices misleading and *************. They should not be allowed to mislead clients in this manner. They must be transparent with the total costs involved.
