Transportation to hospital

Late last year i took my elderly mother of 84yrs to 2 miliatry hospital as he was not well. Due to COVID i was not able to stay at the hspital and asked the nurse to contact me when i could collect her. Later that afternoon i was informed by my sister that they had transported her with ER24 to a private hospital for a scope. Early this year we start recieving bills for the transport, when we contacted them they tell us that we are responsible for the account and not 2 Military hospital. I informed them that we never requested this nor did we sign any documents to be transported. To this day they still continue to send threatening letters of demaind. I contacted there offices in CPT and asked who there ombadsman was but was not given this information and instead refered to another department. I have made it clear to them that the bill will not be paid by the family and that we will take the matter forward if not resolved. Unfortuantely the staff cannnot be blamed as they work under instruction of there management and am sure do a very good job, however the model that ER24 runs on seems like they are no better than breakdown services who pery on the weak and illinformed. Even when the account is paid,, as 2 mil confirmed it has been approved for payment, i intend to continue to escalte this the necessary regulatory authourity. I have one word to describe there business practice - VULTURES
