Terrible after service

<p>I received very good service from the paramedics and everybody involved in taking me to the hospital. but the people working with the accounts.... I never recevied a account. Now all of a sudden I have debt collectors contacting me.... never was I called once regarding my account or did i receive a bill or email or anything. I suspect they must have had the streetadress and not the postal. Why was I not contacted. </p> <p> </p> <p>And I got taken 20km to the hospital - they charge me R5 200. A different ambulance service took me 60 km (just later that day for R1 850)....I really feel they should warn you before or they should look at the rates. It is not possible for state patients to pay that much! to be taken advantage off like that in the worst time of your life is not fair. And why is the communication so terrible??</p>
