ER 24 incompetence

Last week Friday afternoon we called them to assist with my friends sister who had a stroke, stating she was a patient of STEVE BIKO hospital. Told them she must go to the stroke unit there, they refused stating she had not had a stroke, stating there is to much disease at Steve Biko. Insisted she did not have a stroke even told thswane distric she did not have a stroke, the hospital made my friends sister who was progressively going lamer and slurring more and more wait for triage, she did not receive the critical care needed for stroke patients. She is still in hospital. Can't swallow and completely lame on the left hand side. The attitude of the two ambulance men was that of don't tell me how to do my job. Disgraceful and unacceptable unprofessional behavior. I still can't believe what happened.
