Takes one year to send me invoice

I received a statement this morning with reference ERC339903 for an amount that I must pay in as the medical aid did not settle. I am so angry about this. Why does it take more than a year to send me this. I work on a budget and I simply cannot afford to pay any bills older that a year ago because some accounts department took one year to send me this. This is very bad customer service!
