I went for a covid test 10/12/20 for work as one of my colleagues tested positive and I was in contact with her 7 days prior.
I made it clear I had no symptoms and I only have to do the test for work purposes so that I can return to work.
The doctor asks me if I have any symptoms I said no, he said I should say something otherwise I won’t get tested so I said I have a headache and he said no I can’t say that because my colleague said she had one so he said he’s going to say I have chest pain.
I had no symptoms no chest pain or anything literally had him tick off on a list and send me for a test
Test came back negative
I then receive two bills from er consulting for the same date but one is sent to my husband ( all my information is correct) the second one sent to me ( my name is incorrect and it’s a different invoice number)
I follow up they say no it’s a mistake I only need to pay one bill.
I have now received 6 emails stating I need to pay the second bill which still has the incorrect information (even after I’ve responded telling them it’s incorrect), I have settled the one bill with the correct information in January already but I’m still being harassed.
When I questioned why I’m still being harassed the response was that my bill is for chest pain, I didn’t go to kinsgsbury hospital that day for any chest pain I went for the covid test so why am I still being charged for it.
It’s absolutely ridiculous and I don’t understand why they think it’s ok to falsely charge someone for treatment they didn’t request.
I hope that hospitals stop using this company as they falsely charge patients and people and don’t care whether or not information is correct on statements
