ER Consulting INC will ruin your name even if they were wrong

Horrified with this company, Had an emergency last year and had to go to the emergency rooms, Paid upfront for the consultation, week later received an outstanding account as expected, paid immediately, Phoned to find out if there were any more accounts that needed to be paid and they said no, exactly a year later I receive an account from ER Consulting INC, when I called them they had loads of excuses as to why the account took so long, Shorty after the account arrived I was handed over to a debt company, disgusted is not even the right word, how can you even do that when you are not even in the wrong, I wonder if I ca press charges.
