Disappointing Medical Service

To whom it may concern at ER Consulting My injured hand was treated by one of the doctors at Entabeni hospital Casualty on 1 May 2025. An X ray was done and I was discharged by the attending doctor after he had viewed the x-rays. I was given a script for pain and Dr advised all okay just inflammation. My hand was in incredible pain 10 days later still and I just assumed due to the injury. Ten days after the injury I decided to view the x-rays online via the Lake Smit & Partners website and discovered that I had a dorsally angulated fracture of the 5th metacarpal neck. The doctor did not advise me of this or treat me at casualty for this? Why was I not treated for this type of fracture, which I assume would require some sort of strapping to immobilize the part of the hand which is injured. I did call the hospital on 10 May 2025 @09:40 and spoke with a Dr from casualty (I actually think it was the same doctor who had treated me) who was more interested in whether I had med aid or if it would be cash payment should I come in to see him. Very frustrated as I did bring this to your call centre's attention and my last calls on 28 May 2025 at 11:39 and 14:59 received no feedback to date. Despite this I have paid the invoice which ER Consulting had sent me as I have received two sms messages from ER Consulting accounts requesting payment for the account ( 20 and 22 May) but not a single call or email addressing my report. Very disappointed with the ER Consulting level of service who appear to be more interested in collecting money than providing medical care to patients.
