CONTINUED HARRASSMENT FROM ER CONSULTING DESPITE PAYMENT MADE!

I would like to share my recent experience with you about my hospitalization at Ethekwini Hospital on February 14th. The journey began with some tests during triage, which, understandably, added to my stress during an already difficult time.

I've been trying my best to resolve a payment issue with ER Consulting, specifically Dr. Holt and Partners. My medical aid, Profmed, has confirmed that payment was made, and I have sent multiple emails with proof of this to ER Consulting, and they have acknowledged receiving them.

However, despite my persistent efforts, I am now facing threats of legal action, which is understandably quite distressing. When I contact the call center for help, the responses I receive can sometimes feel disheartening. I’ve been told not to reach out anymore, while they insist that my payment hasn’t been recorded. Each time I try to clarify that I have paid, I’m told it’s an issue for the Finance Department, and they assure me they will pass the information along.

Additionally, I was admitted under my ****en name, while Profmed has me registered under my married name. Despite this discrepancy, Profmed has processed the payment using the unique reference number and my ID number, which has remained unchanged throughout this process.

This situation has been incredibly frustrating, and I truly hope to find a resolution soon. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my concerns. It means a lot.
