Negligence

I had a short admission into the ER in the AMs today and I was given my X-Ray Scan, Sick note, and "Prescription". I get to the pharmacy and the pharmacist says to me I was given a Referral Note instead of Prescription. Now How must I cope without medication because I'm only seeing my specialist after a few days?
