Worst Maintenance Plan Underwriter

I have a recurring clutch problem that initially occured at the 21 000 KMs and another at 30 000 KM both of which Eqstra and William Hunt Motors Midrand refuse to pay for, citing "bad driver technique" as a cause.

I’m beyond frustrated and flabbergasted by the terrible customer experience I’ve received since buying a vehicle from the mentioned GM dealership and subsequently insuring with Eqstra.

At this point it is irrelevant whether the insurer is right in its assessment or not; between the dealership and the insurer there is definitely no accountability for the vehicle’s faulty mechanics that wears/destroys the clutch within 15 000 KMs of driving twice in a row .I have driven a VW, Nissan, Mercedes, Volvo and Jeep, and have never had to replace a Clutch within 15 000 KMs .

I will no longer accept this lame excuse of driver technique, and I will escalate this to the highest point till everyone is aware of how terrible their customer service is and until this is resolved to my satisfaction.

As it stands (on 6 December 2017) I only have a word-of-mouth claim rejection from a Service Manager by the Name Joshua, who has been begging Eqstra for a formal response since Monday the 4th when the vehicle was brought in for Service. Delay tactics and frustrating the customers is Eqstra's greatest technique!

In the previous claim I had to wait for over a week , 12 days to be precise, to get a response, in writing as to why my claim was not approved, subsequently I only got a full response for the real reason behind the claim repudiation on the 9th of October 2017, for a complaint I laid on 12 July 2017., This is recorded in an email trail between myself and a miss Heather Bieri at Unitrans Insurance Limited, who claimed to have missed my emails.
