The dark side of epoxy flooring solutions

I enlisted the services of Epoxy Brothers to install an epoxy flake coating on my patio in Dec 2024. As I reside in the Free State, the work was assigned to one of their regional subcontractors, Rona Reatswella General Trade.

Unfortunately, approximately 17 months after installation, the coating began to develop bubbles and cracks across the surface, following a 40k investment.

To be fair, before approaching HelloPeter, I reached out to both companies. No meaningful remedy has been offered - be it repairs nor a quotation to remove the failed installation.

Even if nothing transpires regarding a proposed customer-centric remedy, I take comfort in the fact that potential future clients are more aware of the dark side of epoxy flake solutions.
