INFINITY BATTERIES EPIC BATTERY CENTER SCOTTBURGH POOR SERVICE

Disappointing and unreliable service from battery Centre Scottburgh and infinity battery supplier.

Bought a new infinity battery from epic center Scottburgh 25/05/2022 Around end of April 2023 the car did not start at first. Second it was losing power and was stalling thereafter , I didn't suspect it was the battery because the battery was stil under a year. I took it to two places to get it tested and was told the battery power was low! I then took it back to epic battery Centre at the Scottburgh Mall and they told me to charge it over night and let them know as they will send it in for a claim - I took it back the next day and they loaned me a battery few days later the assistant had called and said that they were Goin to replace the battery, I went there two days later to pick up the exchanged battery, but when I got there they told me that the battery can not be replaced as per the report it had pole damage. In the first place when I took the battery to them they said the battery looked fine and would be replaced as it was only a year, they didn't notify me that the battery could have pole damage. My battery was either replaced at the battery Centre or at infinity battery with a damaged one. This battery was fitted in my car when I purchased it and not removed until my car didn't start the one day neither was it boosted at any time. I was treated very rudely by the owner of battery Centre and when I emailed the customer service at infinity battery I recieved a very rude reply to my email typed back all in caps. The owner of battery Centre even threatened to charge me for theft if I didn't return his loan battery. It is so unfortunate that we as customers that keep these business open get treated in such a disrespectful manner. Please consumers be careful when buying the brand infinity battery it is unreliable and also when dealing with battery Centre as infinity battery stockists.
