E.P. Construction Failed Us!

We are extremely disappointed with the work and service from E.P. Construction

Their motto “Rest while we renovate” should be “Stress while we ignore your calls, messages and emails, and we don’t finish work agreed on and what we do doesn’t get done properly”

What should be an exciting time for us expecting a baby has been nothing but stressful and frustrating. After months of “work” from them and “rest” from us, and spending nearly R100k, nothing has been completed properly and Tim has absconded from the job with no explanation.

Over the course of weeks my attempts to contact were blatantly ignored giving the excuse of poor signal, but when calling from a different number miraculously he was able to answer then.

Promises and deadlines made were never kept and what should have been a couple weeks of work turned into months then just left all together.

On two separate occasions workers pitched up looking for Tim as they weren’t paid. My wife had to pay one as he refused to leave and we never were reimbursed.

I have a list of things incomplete, including our bedroom light that doesn’t work, exposed wires, chipped and cracked flooring, cupboard doors, painting, missing mirror, to name a few that we’ll now need to find some else to complete for us.

We were clearly over charged for things and then eventually were told that he ran out of money, obviously spending our finances on other things. I offered a solution to this to at least finish but was ignored. There has been clear dishonesty as stories have changed and make no sense.

In summary... Time management has been atrocious. Finance management dismal and Communication disgusting.

I don’t understand why we were treated like this.
