False advertsing and poor planning FNB citysurfrun

I would like to voice my displeasure with the FNB 10km surfcityrun for the following reasons:-

• My wife and myself did not get our event tee-shirts on the collection day, and the assistants did not seem to care about helping us.

• Advertised starting time on the event app was scheduled for 8am to 10am, but the race started at 7am and ended at 9:10

• The map provided via email was not clear and you could not make out as to where exactly the starting point was or where you needed to park, nor was any address supp**** for the starting point.

• At 6:45 when we arrived at the starting point we were informed that we could not be helped with shirts as we were too late for collection, we eventually got shirts, but were not the sizes we had originally ordered.

• At 9:10, at the 8km mark, we were informed by a race official that the race had ended, even though finishing time were advertised at 10am.

As a result, we did not get the correct shirt or our finishers medal. This race felt like a farce, adverting was false, and the info supp**** all round was incorrect.

What a disappointment to both my wife and myself – a loyal customer of FNB for the last 19 years!!!
