Expiring Enterprise viennas on the shelf

On the 13.05.15 I purchased a pack on enterprise 500g chicken viennas from the Checkers in Pinetown. As I unpacked the items at home I discovered that the viennas were expiring the following day (14.05.15). I was horrified as this was utterly disappointing and a total inconvenience for me as I had to drive back to Pinetown! I called the store and they said I could bring the pack of viennas in and when I got there I am told that they have to refund me as all of the viennas on the shelf expired the following day and they are not technically expired.(as if consumers eat a pack of viennas daily ??) I am sure that Enterprise sales reps are meant to visit these stores as this is tarnishing their brand and a complete health hazard especially as viennas are popular amongst kids. This had been quite a disappointing and inconvenient way to end my evening !!! I would hate to think what would of happened if my kids ate these viennas!
