Won't Communicate
I was referred to Ensure IT Services by Makro since my printer had been disabled by lightning and was out of warranty. No email address is given on the Ensure IT website. Only one is listed by Redington IT Services which has the same physical address of Ensure IT: *** . This is non-existent. Apparently it is supposed to be *** as I found out subsequently.
In reply to the online form which I comprehensively completed, the following email was received:
"…..We would like to acknowledge that we have received your request and a ticket has been created. Your ticket number is 562887. A support representative will be reviewing your request and will send you a personal response (usually within 24 hours). Thank you for your patience. Sincerely, Ensure Services Customer Support"
I never heard from them again.
Attempts to speak to someone telephonically were also unsuccessful.
As a last resort, I travelled to Midrand to the Ensure offices as spoke to Wesley Major of Customer Care. We agreed that I send all my previous correspondence to his personal email address. I did this and received a reply:
"Thank you for the email. I will forward this to senior management as per our discussion. Regards Wesley"
I never heard from them again.
This company is unable to / won't communicate – How are they going to do anything else they are supposed to do ?
The two conversations were very much the same: They asked me what the issue was. I rep**** that I had already spelt it out on Hello Peter and in emails to W. Major at Ensure. I in turn asked them why they were phoning me and not replying in writing. Their reply was ...mumble, mumble, waffle, waffle...
It seemed that their calls were just something they had to do for the sake of procedure. I think they will not respond in writing for fear of exposing their laziness, incompetence and ignorance.
