Totally impersonal approach

I have had to have 3 printers repaired in the last 9 months. Each time, you get a quotation with a one-liner stating the part that needs replacing and a service fee. No explanation whatsoever as to how this relates to the problem. When you need to them ask a question, you get no reply to your email. They put no phone number on their quotes. They don't call you. They don't take your call. They call you "customer" and not by your name. You're just a number. There is no personalised service at all. They ********* you into paying the quoted fee because you know if you don't, you won't get your printer fixed or even returned. The fact that I already paid for the same part to be replaced in October last year makes me think they just find something to justify their efforts. It's an absolute joke. I have a few simple questions to ask about my quote and it is impossible to get hold of anyone to discuss it. Yet they're very good at sending you emails and SMSs reminding you to approve and pay. And the Indian lady that serves at reception is moody and clearly loves her job (sarcastic). Goodness me. Pity anyone who needs an HP printer repair because this is a nightmare.
