Terrible Service

If I was to feed a rafter of turkeys industrial grade psychedelics after arming them with all the tools normally prescribed to a technician within the field of printer repair, I think I might have gotten better results than what Ensure Services manged to accomplish.

When they deigned to answer their phone, I was generally greeted by someone only barely capable of human speech who never had any information on hand. The next step of this endless annoying process involved listening to their God-awful hold music for anywhere between 10 - 20 minutes. After being demoralized and losing all faith in humanity I would either hang up or finally get someone on the line who would tell me they would "try" and have my printer ready by a certain date. Obivously, that date has been and gone and I have been without a printer now for 2 weeks. The last time I spoke to them, they said it would be ready by Thursday 16th February 2016 which would make the total time I've been without a printer 16 days.

Companies like this are at the center of the rot that is eating away at consumer trust. They have a fat contract with a blue chip company so they can sit on their bums and treat people like they dont matter. Unacceptable. If there is anyone who is prepared to follow up on this here are the details:

Printer: HP Laserjet Pro 200

Part to be Replaced: Intermediate Transfer Belt Assembly

Total cost: R1828 (including quote fee)

Timeframe: Dropped off printer on the 31st Jan 2017; Received quote 6th Febrary 2017; Paid 6th February 2017

The whole experience has been riddled with incompetence and total indifference by their call center. I would appreicate a follow-up on this because my plan is to get the printer back, sell it and buy a competing product rather than run the risk of dealing with this group of jokers every again.

Regards,

Bernard
