HP WARRANTY WORTHLESS

Bought a HP Pavilion gaming laptop in January. Yesterday the hinge of the screen broke. Obviously its a manufacturer error. Took it to their Service agent Ensure IT Servives in Midrand who reckoned its not covered by the warranty and I must have closed the screen too hard. Really!? As if I will slam a R15000 laptop closed??? Stay away from HP their warranty is worthless!!! Hp South Africa Ensure Services
