Empty Promises

I brought in a printer for a repair and was made to pay an assessment fee of R450 on the spot before the unit could be booked in. I was ready to pay cash only to be told no cash can be accepted, so had to use a card. Now according to your rules of service it takes 7-10 days for a repair to be completed subjected to the availabiltiy of parts. In my case there's been no movement apart from Work Assigned to Engineer on the 23rd of January 2024 and irrespective of calls to find out what is happening. All I have are promises to be emailed a quote or a phone call and none of them ever comes true.
