Engine World just ****med me out off R 17'475.00 I asked for a quote for a Kia Rio 1.2 Dual VVTI engine. They quoted me R 10000.00 plus R1500.00 vat plus R800.00 courier, total R 12'300.00 to deliver in Vanderbijlpark. I asked them for photos of the engine to make sure its the correct model. After a few days they send me the photos with a new quote of R 19'000.00 plus R 800.00 for delivery. I asked the lady how can it be R 19'000.00 when we agreed on R 10'000.00, she said sorry but the R10'000.00 engine is out of stock, the boss said that's the new price on the engine available. I asked her is the new price fair, while I'm waiting for you to send me the photos you sell the engine and want R9'000.00 more for the available engine. She told me her boss said he will accept R14'500.00 plus R 2'175.00 vat plus R800.00 courier cost total of R 17'475.00 which I paid for immediately before they change their minds again. Then the log wait for the courier delivery waybill tracking number. Then I contacted the courier Pacific Continental Transport per email, asking the delivery details. Pacific Continental Transport Cradock division advised me that they would need R7'418.00 for insurance of which 95% shall be refunded. I then told Engine World that the delivery insurance was never discussed with me and I refuse to pay the insurance and that it remains their responsibility to deliver the engine to my address as arranged and which I have already paid for. So the engine has not been delivered up to now the 5th February 2024, I have paid on the 18th of January 2024 and delivery should have been on the 25th of January 2024. So no one is talking to me, not Rachel at Engine World, nor Pacific Continental Transport or WPCARGO who send me the tracking number. I managed to speak to a guy which answered the land line at Engine World, he said I have to speak to Alba Lenny who is the owner. I managed to get hold of Alba Lenny who informed me that " this people from Engine World" have ****med me and that they are using his name and details to **** customers, I asked him why don't he make it public on all social media platforms that Engine World is ****mers using his profile, on which he could not answer me, so I suspect that he is also in on this ****ming business.
