An expensive product with a cheap warranty

29/11/2018 I purchased a Hewitt Multi-Alarm IV Engine Protection System and installed item on the 2/12/2018. The machine ran smoothly and with no problems for approximately 2 weeks. The machine was then stored in the workshop for 5 weeks during the Christmas break. About the 20/1/2019 my client called to say that the system warning light was not coming on. I removed the system and took it to my supplier who then returned it to Engine Control Systems. They phoned me and advised that water was inside the unit and that it had probably been installed incorrectly as well. **Water in the unit - not probable as unit was installed inside the dash, inside the cab as well as the machine being stored inside the workshop for the 5 weeks. **Incorrect installation - also not probable due to the fact that I have installed too many to count. This is not acceptable as the warranty states 3 years regardless of mileage.
