Non payment of deposit

The agent in Midrand, Rebecca Mabena and the landlord were supposed to pay us our deposit back but all of a sudden, we are told we will not get our deposit back because they couldn't get a tenant for the month that we moved out. we reported the matter to our lawyers and both the agent and the landlord are not taking the calls. This is just day light robery, especially that we left the place still in good condition. I wouldn't recommend anyone to get assistance from this agent.
