I have received an email from them today saying that I can potentially see the flat on the same day so I was super happy. I went to see the flat and two other people were waiting to see the apartment at the same time. The flat was amazing I was ready to put my offer but I needed to check with my partner first. We both agreed we wanted to put an offer. After 5 min I messaged the agent saying we would like to put an offer on this flat. He messaged me back saying it was too late. I was very surprised - what doesn't it mean too late? I've seen the flat literally 5 min ago! He said this is how it is in Barcelona. Also at the top of this, he said they're charging 10% of the year's rent + VAT which made me think that something is not quite right as the agent said this is not an 11-month contract. I personally think this was a ****...Very sorry if I got it completely wrong.
