Deposit refund

My family and I moved into a townhouse in honeydew ridge address been 20 St Tropez complex, Beretta street, honeydew ridge.on the 1st March,2017. We went through an estate agent namely Candice de Sousa who works for Engel& volkers. And who works with the landlord of the premises namely Dumisani Chawane. On the 18th /11/2017 ,unfortunately my husband passed away and I gave them notice stating that I would be moving out at the end of December. I paid rent from the 1st of December to the 31st. After my 2 daughters and I shifted out, an inspection was done on the 3rd of January, by the agent. The only thing that she raised was that I clean the shower glass door again and the oven. Which I did have cleaned. When I asked when I’d receive my deposit refund, the agent and landlord first cooked up a story of telling me that I didn’t pay the December rent of which I did. After a day they agreed that yes rent was paid. And then when I called the agent after that she told me the landlord was going to do a transfer. Of which he didn’t. He then told me that he was waiting for the utility bill as to see how much electricity was used and would refund my money back. After the bill came out, I received a break down of deductions from my deposit of which I know nothing about. And this is after the landlord and I had our last meeting and he agreed to pay me back my full deposit. Now the agent is omitting herself from all this and says it’s between the landlord and I. I eventually reported the matter to the rental tribunal board and awaiting response. Now these two Dumisani Chawane and Candice de Sousa are ripping me off my deposit and non of them is showing any remorse. I’m a widow, not working at the moment, have 2 kids to look after. My children are only 11 and 4 yrs old, these people are heartless and need to consider the fact that they’re robbing my children and I. They have both been trying to find means and ways of not giving me back my money
