Company Avoiding Payment

I did work for Energy Management SA last year. I finished the first contact at Kees Beyers for which I was paid. I did another contract for them at Pride Milling Nigel <br> in December 2014.<br> Everything went well. The payed me 50% of the contract amount. We were then waiting on material to finish the project. According to them the products had <br> arrived and they were waiting for customs to clear. In January 2015 when I was following up, they told me that they gave the work to another contractor that was <br> cheaper than me.I asked why I was not contacted. I then invoiced them for the balance of the work done for the amount of R22566.30. They deducting an amount <br> of R6400.00 plus VAT because they claim that 160 lamps were not installed. I did a recon on the stock and it balanced out with the <br> installation. They then informed me that there were problems with my work and had to ask the other contractor to rectify it. They never gave me a chance to go to <br> site and see what was wrong so that it could be rectified. They now accuse me for invoicing for lamps that were not installed.<br> <br>
