Phantom agency

Do not even try to reach out this Ombudman (EIOSA) - they do not care about the citizens of South Africa. I have sent over 20 emails to them over the last 2.5 months and have not received a single reply. I have not even received an acknowledgement of receipt of any of my emails.

I eventually even contacted Nersa and they cannot help me.

This means that the electricians in South Africa are thus not regulated. They need to be registered with the department of labour and that's it. They are then free to do as they please with respect to any work that they do and the citizens of South Africa have ABSOLUTELY no recourse available to them.

The email address *** is a black hole. It does not seem to be monitored. The promises on the EIOSA webpage of a response within 48 hours are false and there is no way to actually lodge a complaint short of possibly going through the offices (which I have not yet attempted).

Thanks for leaving us citizens in the lurch again South Africa.
