WRONG MAKE OF VEHICLE SOLD

On 11 March 2014 I Herm**** Pretorius bought a 2011 Toyota Hilux 3.0 D4-D at Energy Cars in Gezina, Pretoria R289 500,00 with sales consultant Marnand Pretorius.<br> <br> On 25 January 2015 I went to Toyota Gezina to buy parts for the Toyota Hilux whereby the Toyota spares department confirmed that the vehicle make was a 2010 and not a 2011 model.<br> <br> I contacted Marnand Pretorius at Energy cars to ask why they sold me a 2010 vehicle when they told me and the papers indicated that the vehicle is a 2011 model. Marnand Pretorius confirmed that the paper work was not in order and that the vehicle was indeed a 2010 model.<br> <br> Marnand Pretorius then offered to buy the vehicle back for R244 000,00 or pay us R10 000,00 cash for the misunderstanding.<br> <br> I feel that this is a lousy offer as I were the one who suffered financially, due to all the charges for the 2011 model and not them, they only enriched themselves by selling an older vehicle to me for a newer models price.
