Unprofessional, Poor Workmanship & Unresolved Issues – Avoid Energevo Solutions

We dealt with Energevo Solutions as part of an insurance claim for water-damaged kitchen cabinetry. The experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

After initial delays and lack of communication, Energevo only returned to site in mid-December — over two months after the claim was logged. We had asked them to reassess the full extent of the damage and quote us directly to replace all cupboards for a consistent finish in our open-plan kitchen, as the insurance would only cover a partial replacement. Their quote for the additional work was excessively high, and we couldn’t afford the difference. We had no choice but to proceed with mismatched cabinetry.

When installation finally took place on 17–18 December 2025, the workmanship was poor and unprofessional. There was no proper handover, they cracked one of our granite countertops during the process, and not all damaged cupboards were replaced. The final result included misaligned appliances, uneven cupboard doors, visible gaps, poor finishing, and messy silicone work.

What’s worse is that the total cost of all three contractors involved in the job ended up being less than Energevo’s quote to do the full cabinet replacement alone — proving their pricing was inflated.

We are extremely dissatisfied with the service, quality, and communication from Energevo Solutions. We would not recommend them to others.

Hi Tarryn,Thank you for your feedback, and we apologise for the delayed response as we have only recently become aware of your review. We acknowledge that there were shortcomings in the workmanship during this project, which were raised and addressed at the time through the insurer. The necessary processes were followed to rectify the issues within the scope of the claim. We understand the frustration caused, particularly given the delays, communication challenges, and limitations around the approved insurance scope.Since then, we have taken steps internally to improve our quality control and project management processes to prevent similar situations going forward. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity it provides for us to improve. Should you wish to discuss anything further, you are welcome to contact us directly.
