Where do I even begin, when some one is in trouble with an employer related query, we always hope to find a person or a firm that will be able to not only help you, but also legally guide you through the process, this has not happened for us, since we signed up with Legal Law Experts firm we have been left in the dark. My husband lost his job unfairly during the Covid lock down this then left us both unemployed, we didn't know what we could do to resolve the dismissal issue, that is when I came across Legal Law Experts on the internet, great some one that did this for a living and knew what was the correct steps and will help us, or so I thought. From the very beggining of this case we have been dealing with Michael Smith (Senior Legal Advisor), perfect we were getting some-one that was an senior member at the firm, this meant that he was experienced, and we were going to get this matter resolved the right way, this was not true in-fact if you can get hold of Michael you were one of the lucky ones. At first he responded almost instantly and this was perfect we felt we had found some- one that was willing to listen and guide us, we were told to fill in the CCMA forms on line which we did and then submitted them from here they were going asses if we had a case. We were then informed that the case would proceed which was great news, after this process was complete the communication basically almost stopped, we had signed the contract they had taken our case and when we won they were getting paid. The CCMA contacted my husband directly thank goodness as we would not have been at the court had they not done so. My husband had to tell Michael that there was a date given by the CCMA for the sit down, we tried for days to contact him and any one at the firm regarding the CCMA date , what did we need to do, what all can happen and what must we not do? Two days before the court Michael was still under the impression that there was no date.... after forwarding him the email from the CCMA, he then sent us a copy and paste like email, with no personal detail or guidance, not once had my husband had a phone call from him or any guidance, all papers and proof of the unfair dismissal were prepared by myself yet, they want to take their % from us , is this fair? My husbands employer did not arrive on the day and when the Commissioner phoned him to query why he did not show, he told the Commissioner that that matter had already been resolved and he had paid our lawyers. My husband came home very confused and concerned as he had not received any money and he did not agree on a settlement, the Commission advised that if my husband was not aware with the settlement then we were to proceed to arbitration, so this is what we were now going to do as far as we knew this was the next step. We tried for days to get the arbitration forms from Michael, and an answer as to how and why the Employer was saying that the matter was resolved, and payment was made, we to date still don't know what was paid out and what was settled as my husband was never involved in the process. The email sent by Michael with the arbitration forms kept being sent to us with out the link, the more we asked for a new email the more we got either the same email, we were then from then on just being ignored. After sending a long email now involving T Harry ( the Director of the firm) and any and all other email addresses and phoning and sending messages to all telephone numbers I could find on the internet we finally got a response, not exactly the response were expecting though, we were told straight out to supply banking details, no reason why, no explanation on the settlement, no proof of settlement agreed between my husband, the firm and the employer. We have since then tried all forms of communication and just nothing, We even gave them a chance to explain and try sort out the issue by close of business 01 Oct 2020 before I go public and still nothing. This is so frustrating as my husband is still unemployed ,and we were and still are in need of legal assistance, yet we are expected to pay for a service that we did not get. What proof do we have on the settlement, firstly what was actually paid by the employer to the firm, what gave them a right to accept a settlement with out discussing it with the client, and how can the firm be paid a fee for work that was not done. Personally if you are in need of legal assistance I would deeply reconsider before signing up with this company, they take advantage of the desperate and those in need, they take money on your behalf with out any permission and its almost impossible to get hold of them when you need them.
