Wheel of Destiny - wheel of bullsh#t

<p>We spent some time at Emperors Palace on Friday 27/07/17 and was dissapointed with what transpired. I bought some shoes from a shop at the food emporium and after paying for it I saw some spectacles which I then also bought. Both purchases totalling R520.00. My wife noticed that they advertised that you get a free spin at the Wheel of Destiny if you spend more than R500.00 at participating shops.Obviously we took the two slips to the WC and asked if we can participate. The lady confirmed that the shop we bought at is a participating shop and that we would qualify but she just wanted to check with her manager. After a few minutes she came back and said sorry due to it being on two separate slips we do not qualify... the reason being we could have picked up the slips. Standing with both products in my hand and inviting the manager to come with us to confirm that we just bought it and the time and date on the slips did not count for anything... I am usually not petty about stuff like this but they actually called me a **** which offended me.In the future listen to someone without jumping to conclusions or set it out properly in your terms and conditions.Totally unacceptable Emperors Palace.</p>
