This hotel is DANGEROUS
I received a free stay offer to the Mondior Hotel, my wife and I took the offer.
On checking into the hotel we were allocated a room on the second floor, as we are older we went to the lift some 20 meters from the reception area, The lift door closed and we were well and truly stuck no amount of button pushing would work, I pressed the alarm button for at least 5 min. no response, I used my phone to call the complex switchboard who seamed to think that I was a crank caller, eventually I was put through to maintenance , they don't answer their phone. By this stage I had been pushing the alarm bell for a solid 20 min. still no response. I was on the verge off calling the Kempton Park Fire services when a passing porter heard the alarm and between us we were able to force the lift doors open.
I reported the incident to reception and on the following day to the manager.
Two days later I received a call from a PR person saying that my complaint had been referred to the Health and Safety committee and senior management were deeply concerned, this ladies attitude at best was disinterested and did nothing to settle my concerns. Is this complex a safe place to visit? I think not>
