EMPEROR'S PALACE CASINO SELECTIVE PAYOUTS
I was at Emporer's Palace on 13 June 2019 and at approximately 14:20, Refiloe was the spinner at roulette slots table and ball landed on 15 and I had a bet on 15 and the machine gave an error and they don't want to pay me out. A fellow player said this happened to him a few times as well.
Floor manager came and said he can't decide and main manager was no where to be found, it had been a half an hour and nobody was there to assist us.
Am now of the opinion the Machines are rigged and the casino is selectively saying that an error or malfunction existed and calling errors when a payout was guaranteed.
A Mphahlele and Herry came on the floor and said they can not payout. Mmeli Duma slots duty manager said same.
45 minutes later, they were able to reset the error bet and the previous bet played was on the same numbers, so the betting could not be canceled and ended up losing the R522 invested, for the previous winning bet that was not paid out.
Their reasoning was that the previous spin of 10 was still in the system and when our winning bet of 15 came, machine didn't register it as it was still locked onto previous 10 spin. Very poor explanation as the spinner could have stopped the spin and respun if machine gave an error, alternatively the machine allowed us to bet, which means there could not have been an error, if it still allowed us to bet, whilst the previous winning number was still in the system.
No professional service rendered, as nobody took down my details so as to investigate and give me feedback of the outcome, as this could be happening to many innocent gamblers, that is falling prey to this same situation and the Emporer's Palace casino is capitalising on this as a so called error, for not wanting to pay a winning bet. I may have won a small amount on the so called bet that the Emperors Palace casino didn't payout, but it is the principle behind this.
